Environmental Concerns

Concern for the environment rates high among our corporate objectives. We carefully select materials and advise our customers on banned or toxic substances. We provide customers upon request with officially recognised laboratory tests on the contents and composition of our compounds.

i-Profile actively researches on the extrusion of environmentally more friendly compounds and materials as they become available. A programme of testing of new thermoplastics exists, whereby we study the possibility of replacing PVC with other compounds in a variety of profiles.

Beside raw materials, our environmental concerns include all other materials which pass through our company, such as packing material and supplies.

All raw material in our company is recycled, either in our company or by third party recyclers, and a proper waste disposal policy is in place.
